Version 1.0 (draft) · Effective [DATE]

Photo, Video, and Media Release

DRAFT — PENDING LEGAL REVIEW. NOT FOR PUBLICATION.

Version: 1.0 (draft) Effective date: [DATE]

Accepted per event, per athlete. Not carried over between events.

[NOTE FOR COUNSEL — HIGHEST PRIORITY IN THIS SET. This document governs the publication of identifiable minors' names, photographs, locations, and performance data alongside paid sponsor branding. Please review specifically for: (1) state right-of-publicity and minor-likeness statutes in each event state; (2) NIL implications of publishing minors' likenesses in content that carries paid sponsor placement; (3) whether the perpetual, irrevocable grant is enforceable when given by a parent on a minor's behalf, and whether it survives the minor reaching majority; (4) whether any state requires a separate, notarized, or court-approved consent for commercial use of a minor's likeness.]

READ THIS BEFORE YOU REGISTER. Our events are filmed on every court and your child will be publicly identifiable in the content we produce.

1. What this covers

This release is between you, as parent or legal guardian of the athlete named in this registration ("Athlete"), and [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] d/b/a T3TV Sports, part of Top25 Holdings ("T3TV").

Event: [EVENT NAME] Dates: [DATES]

2. What we capture

At the Event, T3TV, its contractors, its media partners, and credentialed third-party outlets will capture:

  • Livestream video of every court, in full
  • Recorded game footage
  • Photographs, including posed portraits at check-in and media night
  • Interviews, including audio of the Athlete speaking
  • Performance data, statistics, and box scores
  • Written scouting evaluations

3. What we publish

You grant permission for T3TV to publish and distribute the following, in connection with the Athlete:

  • Full name and preferred name
  • Photograph, video footage, and voice
  • Jersey number and position
  • Current grade and graduating class year
  • City and state
  • Team, club, school, or program affiliation
  • Game statistics, box scores, and performance data
  • A written evaluation and a national ranking

Where it appears:

  • T3TV livestreams, broadcasts, highlight reels, recap films, and documentaries
  • T3TV social channels, including [@t3tv, @top25scouts, @t3tv_camp, @t3tv_clips, @t3tv_gear, @hoopverified — CONFIRM CURRENT HANDLES]
  • Top25Scouts profiles and national rankings
  • Hoop Verified profiles, statistics, and player cards
  • The Athlete's printed player card and credential, including a QR code linking to their live public profile
  • T3TV websites, email newsletters, and marketing material
  • Media partner and credentialed outlet coverage
  • Future promotional material for T3TV events

4. Sponsor branding appears alongside your child

Our events are sponsored. Sponsor marks appear on courts, floor decals, ceiling banners, signage, scorer's tables, backboards, credentials, lanyards, player cards, and on the camp jersey the Athlete wears.

Content featuring the Athlete will therefore show the Athlete alongside, wearing, or in front of commercial branding, and that content is used to promote T3TV and its events and is delivered to sponsors as part of their sponsorship.

You acknowledge and permit this.

5. Scope of the grant

You grant T3TV a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable license to use, reproduce, edit, distribute, publicly display, and publicly perform the content described above, in all media now known or later developed, for the purposes described in this release.

T3TV owns the content it produces. You and the Athlete have no ownership interest in it and are not entitled to payment, royalties, or approval rights over how it is edited or used.

T3TV may grant limited, personal, non-commercial rights to families, clubs, and schools to reshare content. Those recipients may reshare it further, and T3TV does not control onward sharing.

6. What you should understand about permanence

  • Content may be indexed by search engines and found by anyone searching the Athlete's name
  • Content may be downloaded, copied, and reposted by third parties
  • Content may remain available indefinitely
  • Once distributed, content cannot be fully recalled

7. Independent media

Credentialed third-party outlets attend our events and publish independently under their own editorial control. T3TV does not control and is not responsible for what they publish. Additional outlets may credential on site without prior arrangement.

Youth sporting events at public or semi-public venues may also be photographed by spectators and other families. T3TV cannot prevent this.

8. What is NOT covered

This release does not permit, and T3TV will not do, any of the following:

  • Share the Athlete's contact details, date of birth, home address, or medical information with sponsors or any third party for marketing
  • Sell the Athlete's personal information
  • Use the Athlete's likeness to endorse a specific product or service in a standalone advertisement, without your separate written permission
  • Publish the Athlete's likeness in any context suggesting the Athlete personally endorses a sponsor

[NOTE FOR COUNSEL: the line between "appears alongside sponsor branding" and "endorses a sponsor" is the crux of the NIL exposure. Please tighten this section.]

9. Withdrawing consent

You may withdraw consent for future capture and publication by emailing T3tv.youth@gmail.com.

Please understand:

  • Withdrawal does not require removal of content already published or already distributed
  • Withdrawal does not affect content already licensed to media partners or sponsors
  • Because every court is filmed and streamed, withdrawing media consent will generally mean the Athlete cannot participate in our events

You may request removal of a specific published item. We will consider each request in good faith and will tell you what we can and cannot remove, but we do not guarantee removal.

10. If you are not comfortable with this

Do not register. There is no version of our events in which an athlete participates but is not filmed. This is stated plainly so you can make an informed decision before paying.

If you have concerns about a specific aspect of publication — for example a safety, custody, or protective-order situation — contact T3tv.youth@gmail.com before registering and we will discuss whether accommodation is possible.

[NOTE FOR COUNSEL: we should have a documented process for custody disputes, protective orders, and children in foster or witness-protection situations, where publication of a name and city could create genuine danger. Currently we have none.]

11. Release of claims

You release T3TV and its officers, employees, contractors, media partners, and sponsors from any claim arising out of the capture, publication, or distribution of content under this release, including claims for defamation, invasion of privacy, right of publicity, false light, and emotional distress — except for claims arising from willful misconduct.

12. Duration

This release is effective from the date of acceptance and continues indefinitely with respect to content captured at the Event, unless withdrawn under Section 9 for future use.

[NOTE FOR COUNSEL: advise whether the Athlete can disaffirm this grant on reaching 18, and whether we should seek a confirming release from athletes who turn 18 while still in our system.]

13. Governing law

Governed by the laws of [STATE], without regard to conflict of laws principles.

14. Acknowledgment

By checking the box and completing registration, you confirm that:

  • You have read this entire release
  • You are the Athlete's parent or legal guardian with authority to grant these permissions
  • You understand your child will be publicly identifiable in published content
  • You understand this content may remain online permanently
  • You grant these permissions freely
